| Last minute engine run-up and checks are performed on Habu 972 at Det 1, Kadena Airbase on Okinawa, prior to a reconnaissance flight over the USSR’s naval port at Vladivostok. Signed on the reverse by 70 SR-71 pilots and RSO's that flew in the SR-71, including Robert Gilliland who conducted the first flight of the SR-71 in December, 1964. |
